The Appalachian Trail Conservancy aims to protect, manage, and advocate for the Appalachian National Scenic Trail to ensure the Trail and its landscape are protected, resilient, and connected.

The Conservancy supports conservation projects within the Appalachian Trail landscape through the Wild East Action Fund. The Action Fund is split into three grant streams for land protection, conservation planning, and community resilience.
