The New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) empowers artists across disciplines at critical stages in their creative lives.

The Ryan Hudak LGBTQ+ Dramatic Writing Award provides an $8,000 grant to one New York State–based playwright or screenwriter who self-identifies as LGBTQ+.

Eligible applicants may reside anywhere in New York State, including New York City.
