Effective Community Engagement: Involving the Community in Your Mission
Webinar date: February 12, 2026, 2:00 PM Eastern Time
Description: Nonprofits share a common goal: to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the people they serve. Yet many organizations struggle with a persistent challenge—how to genuinely involve their community in shaping programs and decisions. While most nonprofits recognize the importance of community engagement, they often lack clear, practical strategies for hearing from the people most impacted by their mission. Limited time, lean budgets, and uncertainty about where to begin can make meaningful engagement feel out of reach. In this webinar, Mindy Muller will explore how nonprofits can move beyond good intentions to build authentic, effective community engagement practices that strengthen programs and deepen impact.
Demystifying Budgets
Webinar date: Begins February 17, 2026, 2:00 PM Eastern Time
Description: The budget is a critical component of any grant application—it should tell a story that complements your proposal narrative and builds your organization’s credibility as a responsible steward of grant funds. Understanding how to build a budget and present your financials in a grant proposal will strengthen your proposals and take the stress out of the drafting process. While building a budget is usually the responsibility of your finance team, development staff should have an understanding of how the document is assembled and what it says. That way, your organization is better positioned to tell one cohesive story in a grant proposal. During this webinar, Alix Rosenfeld of Elevate will explain the building blocks of budgets and how to present an appropriate budget in a grant proposal.
(FREE) DEI, Burnout, and the Case for Compassionate Leadership
Webinar date: February 18, 2026, 2:00 PM Eastern Time
Description: Many nonprofits are deeply committed to equity and community impact, yet internally, staff are stretched thin, disengaged, or struggling to stay connected to the mission. When the internal culture erodes, even the most values-driven organizations feel the strain. During this webinar Bonnie Chavez will explore the often-overlooked connection between DEI and burnout and why compassionate leadership is not a “nice to have,” but a critical strategy for sustainability. You’ll discover how small but intentional shifts can reduce costs, improve retention, and reinforce your organization’s values from the inside out.
