There are two distinct paths you can take when trying to secure grant support for your organization. You can either apply for opportunities that come across your desk, or you can develop a strategic approach for each project or program that needs funding.
Join GrantStation President Alice Ruhnke in this information-packed, fast-paced training focused on a step-by-step process to help you develop your grantseeking strategy for 2026-27. With so many unknowns when it comes to fundraising, having a strong grantseeking plan in place is essential to keeping your organization financially healthy.
Determining Your Revenue Mix
Webinar date: May 7, 2026, 2:00 PM Eastern Time
This webinar is part of a series Beyond Diversification: Making Smart Revenue Decisions for 2026.
Every nonprofit leader wants a stable, sustainable revenue strategy, but in today’s uncertain economic and philanthropic climate, figuring out the “right” mix of funding can feel overwhelming. Should you add more grants? Launch an earned income stream? Invest in major gifts? The pressure to pursue multiple revenue sources is strong, yet more isn’t always better.
In reality, there is no one-size-fits-all approach. Too often, nonprofit leaders spend valuable time and energy chasing funding streams that don’t align with their mission, programs, or internal capacity. The common myth is that successful organizations must engage in every type of fund development activity to grow. But research shows that many high-performing nonprofits scale their impact by focusing deeply on the right primary funding stream, not by stretching themselves thin.
During this webinar, Deborah Steinkopf and Anthony Petchel will break down nonprofit Business and Finance Models to help you identify the revenue strategies that truly fit your organization.
Winning More Grants Through Solid Grant Management (Power of 3 Series)
Webinar date: May 12, 2026, 2:00 PM Eastern Time
Winning a grant is a milestone, but it's only the beginning. What happens after the award letter arrives is where many organizations quietly struggle. Without clear systems for tracking expenses, gathering outcomes, communicating with funders, and distributing responsibilities across a team, even well-resourced organizations can find themselves overwhelmed at reporting time, scrambling to pull together data that should have been collected months earlier.
The consequences of poor grant management go beyond stress. Missed deadlines, incomplete reports, and undocumented outcomes can damage the funder relationships your organization has worked hard to build and jeopardize future funding. At the same time, grant management done well is one of the most powerful and underutilized tools for growing your grant portfolio.
This three-part webinar series, led by Amanda Day and Kimberly Hays de Muga of HayDay Services, offers a comprehensive, practical roadmap for managing grants from award to closeout and beyond.
