Description: The Easton Foundations aim to grow archery participation across the U.S. by funding programs and facilities that support archers from their first experience to elite levels. They offer three types of grants: Big Impact Grants for transformative projects, Equipment Grants (up to $500) to help start or grow archery programs, and Operational Grants to support day-to-day program costs.

Description: The Park Foundation funds initiatives that foster a more just, equitable, and sustainable society, both nationally and in Ithaca, NY. Its grantmaking spans democracy reform, civic participation, public interest media, environmental justice (particularly water and energy), animal welfare, and community-focused programs in Tompkins County. Priorities include systemic change through advocacy, education, and organizing, with a strong emphasis on equity, informed engagement, and long-term impact.

RedRover Relief

Application deadline: Urgent Care and Domestic Violence Safe Escape Grants: None; Domestic Violence Safe Housing Grants: September 1, 2025
Grant amount: Up to $60,000
The RedRover Relief program offers multiple grant opportunities to support the care of animals in crisis situations. It provides urgent care grants of around $250 for pet owners facing financial hardship, Safe Escape grants for domestic violence survivors needing pet boarding, and Safe Housing grants of up to $60,000 to organizations creating pet-friendly spaces for survivors of abuse or homelessness.

Funding for Underserved Youth Sports Programs Nationwide
DICK'S Sporting Goods Foundation

Grant amount: Grant range $1,000-$900,000; Average grant $12,855
Description: The DICK'S Sporting Goods Foundation’s Sports Matter program provides funding to help under-resourced nonprofits, schools, and community teams offer youth sports opportunities across the U.S. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) organizations serving youth in areas with at least a 15% poverty rate or public/charter schools where 40% or more of students receive free or reduced-price lunch. Grant funds must be used specifically to support youth sports participation, such as equipment, fees, infrastructure, and other related costs.

Description: The Hilda and Preston Davis Foundation supports nonprofit initiatives that improve the lives of children and young adults, with a strong focus on addressing eating disorders and increasing access to education for underprivileged youth. While the Foundation funds priority areas nationally, other grantmaking is regionally focused, especially in southern New England and the mid-Atlantic. It favors pilot programs, collaborative models, and innovative partnerships that test new ways to support youth development.

Grant amount: Typically $5,000 - $30,000
Description: The SpartanNash Foundation offers funding to nonprofit organizations aligned with the Foundation’s three priority areas: Hunger (food security and nutrition), Heroes (support for military personnel, community responders, and volunteers), and Hope (career pathways, sustainability, and community belonging). The Foundation emphasizes local impact and partnerships that serve communities near SpartanNash’s operational footprint.

The Burning Foundation

The Burning Foundation offers grants to organizations in Washington and Oregon focused on environmental conservation and teen pregnancy prevention.
