Best Computer Store!

Falcon Specials

Hello all, we have some very big news. WE ARE BACK IN KONA!!!!!  Falcon Computers has two stores again!!!!  Its true, we have returned to Kona with a new store in the old industrial area to take care of all our Kona friends. We are in the long beige building just north of NAPA auto parts on Alapa St. Just look for the signs. We are upstairs, and we have a buzzer down below if you need help getting your computer up the stairs (just hit number 207). We look forward to reconnecting with all our friends in Kona. As a special, we will be giving 1/2 price diagnostics to everyone who comes into the Kona store during the month of February if you mention this web page. Please stop in and say hello and check out the new store. If you would like to give us a call use our long time Kona number 808-334-1988. Still a word about Windows operating systems: We still are loading Windows 7 on our new loads, but we are keeping a sharp eye out on Microsoft. We recommend that you upgrade Windows 8 or 8.1 computers to Windows 10, but if you have Windows 7 I would stick with it for now. If we see any major reason to change, we will let you know right away. Microsoft seems to be pushing us all toward Windows 10 as fast as they can, and we are trying our best to find a safe and easy way to upgrade without compromising your safety and security on the internet. Until we find a way, I'm not upgrading my own computers, so that is our best advice right now.  We hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the best place on the planet.    A hui hou.          ******Please scroll to the bottom of the page to read about important updates and a computer scam!!!  ...

Important Update

A word about a phishing scam and some nasty Malware/Adware.

.

We have also been hearing about a telephone scam that is targeting computer users. If you get a phone call from someone claiming to be from or affiliated with Microsoft or any other company claiming to know that your computer is having problems, THIS IS A SCAM !!!. No one gets sent information from your computer unless you choose to do that yourself. Please hang up immediately or inform them that you do not have a computer. They will try to get you to look at your event viewer to prove that your machine is not functioning properly, then when they have you hooked, they will direct you to a web page that may infect your machine and they will try to get some money from you to fix the issue. None of this is true. If you have been a victim of this scam, please give us a call so we can advise you of what is necessary in order to keep your machine safe.

Also we have been seeing a lot of machines infected with Malware/Adware that looks like either an FBI message or a Homeland Security message. The message may take a picture of you with your webcam if you are on a laptop, and threatens that if you do not pay up some cash, then you will be prosecuted for all kinds of bad stuff. Please be aware that this is a scam and is not real. The FBI does not demand cash from you or Homeland Security or any such organization. This is an infection, and you should give us a call right away so we can fix it for you.

Keep running your Malware bytes once a month and you should not have a problem.
